inner circle , which represents about
75 minutes driving distance, are
regulars at the monthly networking
events, from 4:30 to 7:00.
The quarterly "value-added afternoons",
from 1:30 to 7:00,
are specifically designed to attract
people from within the
outer circle, which represents about 3
hours driving distance.

Every month since November 2011, the Seed
Central events
attract a large and diverse group of:

UC Davis faculty

UC Davis undergraduate and graduate students

UC Davis IP and tech transfer specialists

local government representatives

economic development specialists

angel investors
-
banks
-
visiting seed professionals from out of
state and overseas

visiting scientists from out of state and
overseas

etc.
Group size varies between 100 and 150 people
every month.
Since the joint Seed Central & Food Central
events were established
in September 2012, an increasing number of food
professionals attend, especially those who have
business connections with seed companies.
Seed Central members
have the option to sponsor the events.
Full sponsorship at the $5,000 level covers the
cost of organizing an event.
We also accept two partial sponsors per event at the
$2,500 level.
