talk about aspects of their research that are of
specific interest to seed professionals.

variety of themes will be covered.

Central BRAINSTORMING
Brainstorming sessions
(3:00 - 4:15) seeking to find local
solutions to shared needs. Examples:
- Medium and
long-term human resources needs of the seed
industry (joint session with representatives
from UC Davis and local community colleges).
- The potential
for collaborative, pre-competitive research
facilities on campus (November 9, 2011 and April
12, 2012)
- Options for technology transfer and access to
intellectual property.
- Option to
synchronize variety trials organized by seed
companies in the region.
- Services which
several local seed companies would like to
contract out locally; Seed Central to attract
contractors to the region.
